I have really been enjoying my large stamp with the French script background. It seems to add just the right touch of shabby-ness to my projects. I designed a focal point for this card and ended up taking it off and replacing it with just the corner flowers instead. I still love the focal point I have, I just need to find a new way to make it work. So what I have here is the French script background, and some die cut flowers. Look closely though, one flower layer as well as the photo corners are cut from fabric. Shabby fabric! Ive been wanting to incorporate fabric on cards for a while now, just not sure how to go about it. Here's my first shot at it:(Sorry for the poor lighting in the photo!)
And a close up of the detail work:
I have neglected my Etsy shop all summer long so I am feeling the urge to get back in it again. So, back to the craft room I go. Let's hope some inspiration follows me!

Beautifully done! I've thought of doing fabric on cards too but never tried it yet. It does look soft and very feminine and I love the script background. It just looks vintage no matter where it's used.
